What really sets it apart

FCS II System — Tool-free fin installation, compatible with the full FCS II range. You start with the included Softflex fins for a forgiving ride, then switch to stiffer fins whenever you want more grip in your turns. Same board, two completely different feels.

Double Stringer — Two wooden reinforcements integrated into the EPS core for increased stiffness and better response underfoot. The board stays lively and won't go soft over time like budget softboards do.

Optimised Volume — 70 L — 70 litres of buoyancy to paddle fast and catch waves earlier.

Safety & finish — Soft rails, high-density foam deck, integrated carry handle. Focus on your surfing — the board takes care of the rest.

Local expertise — We love this Coaster 7'0" for sessions at Plage du Ris and the small waves of Douarnenez Bay. When the swell is weak and you want to have fun without pulling out a longboard, this is exactly the board you need. Early morning, before the wind picks up, is the sweet spot.

Conditions at Ris — You can test it at Plage du Ris straight out of the shop. The beach works best at mid incoming tide: waves reform further out and you have more room to paddle. South and South-West wind is your friend — it blows offshore and gives the waves a clean shape. Check the tide times before you head out, it makes all the difference.

Pro maintenance — After every session, rinse the whole board with fresh water, paying special attention to the FCS II fin boxes to prevent salt from jamming the locking mechanism. Also make sure there's no sand inside before clipping in your fins. 30 seconds of rinsing and your board lasts much longer.
